3440x1440 monitor stuck at 50 Hz

MY monitor's the: ASUS ROG SWIFT PG348Q 34" @ 3440x1440

In Windows the highest refresh option I'm allowed is 50 Hz. Any ideas why? I used the HDMI cable that came with the monitor and am plugged in to a GTX 1060. On the OSD settings when I go to overclocking it shows 50 and doesn't allow me to change anything.

I also have 1080p 120 Hz monitor plugged in to the same card (DVI-D).

Any ideas how I can use this on a higher refresh?

dont use hdmi.

hdmi 1.4 doesnt have another bandwidth for 60hz. I'm pretty sure the manual will tell you that

Thanks, that worked! All overclocked up and running at 100 Hz now.

I had assumed the new HDMI standards were out and supported

You need to use the supplied DP cable
