3440x1440 Widescreen Monitor Desk Mount arm with weight of 27kg

most stands on the market max out at 8kg to 14kg

The Asus LG and Dell Alienware 3440x1440 wide screen monitors are 27kg+

Anyone use a widescreen monitor desk mount that can handle widescreen monitor weight?

Obviously not gonna spend 300 quid for a desk mount

Not sure which specific dell you were looking at but one of heaviest I could find is the below at 15.67kg. The LG I looked at was about 9kg and I never bothered looking at asus as at that point I’d guessed you’d got the 27kg weight badly wrong

The 27kg is the stand the pole, the whole thing together, ok so the panel only is nearly 16kg thats twice the weight of nearly all the stands im looking at, they average around the 10-12kg

Placing a heavy panel nearly twice the weight wont hold the panel, you would have to stiffen the adjusters beyond the safe point and even then you wont be able to swing it up n down lefty righty

A you tube video has a guy who attached a 15kg panel to a recommended 11kg desk arm and he had to stiffen it so much he couldn't move the arm, it was not flexible, if he loosened it then it would fall on the desk

You'll find any mount/arm should work just fine... as mentioned, that's all you need to conside. You are looking at total weight with stand, and most of the weight is the in the stand. I'd be surprised if panel weighed more than 10kg.

The wide screens are really heavy, 34 ich screens, the 32 inch and 38 inch widescreens are even heavier

The only other thing thats i saw was a TV holder, but they have to be bolted on a wall.

Anyone using a 34inch widescreen on a desk arm that is flexible?
