In my case I looked in for any info on the status and hence didn't reply because I speed-read and didn't even click the links.
I don't think a reply saying that their site down is of any use really because it's so incredibly rare for a person to be able to reach everywhere apart from their website & hosting company and for it to be a problem with their net connection. In GD you'd get lots of replies affirming that the site is down but over here it's more specialised, so generally people won't reply unless they host a site with the company and can add info like "mine's down too, different server, wonder what's up" etc. I think over here you'd more likely get replies saying "no, that site works for me, want some help?" rather than the vice versa spammage of GD. That's just a theory, though
I just don't like sarcastic comments because HG&P is a place with lots of helpful people who spend a lot of time helping out. Even if you were probably correct - but still, no reason to be nasty
Anyway as you can see people who use 34sp have now gravitated to this thread as they noticed their hosting is down. So no problemo
(Well, the downtime is a problemo - do they have a phone number to call?)
Their site is still down now which is worrying, it doesn't take that long for a DNS change to propogate...that's what we do if our main datacentre/site webserver goes down.
