Don’t know what to do, weather to go for a LG 34UM65 or a 4K monitor AOC or Samsung.
Will be used for internet/gaming etc.
This is doing my head in don’t know which way to go…
Regards,
Martin

Depends on if you want 2560x1080 or 3840x2160. That's a big difference, and personally I would go for the 34UM95 which is 3440x1440.

You'll struggle to run a lot of the best looking games at high details on pair of 670's on a 4k monitor. The 4GB is good, but you'll run out of grunt before any memory worries.
Unless you're upgrading your GPU's, go with the other. Or consider a 29inch 21:9 screen? Tighter dot pitch.

It all depends how much you will use the monitor outside of gaming. IMO 21:9 can't be beaten when gaming, but a lot of people find the res is quite restrictive for doing any serious stuff in Windows.

Personally I find surfing etc fine at that res, which is the only other thing I do on my gaming PC.

With free backlight bleed and poor customer service!

I would also avoid both the LG and 4k currently. Keep your money and save a tad more. Then buy DELL's 34" answer to the LG model

The 4k scaling issue and also some flickering issues being reported has put me off

Count me in. I'm a grammar nazi. Can't abide thick people.

Weather your one or not two would have bean interesting to no.

Do I need to put an ironic icon thing after that? Hope not.

I feel I need to say something but I can't be brothered ;)

Anyway back to the matter at hand... most of the games I play are mmo based, gave up playing fps when they started being console ports, I'm in the trade, well TV repairs, I know from experience how BAD LG customer care is and i know in my head its a bad move even thinking at them...
Just wanna get away from the triple screens which I don't really use anymore and the 21:9 would be a nice replacement.
But having seen 4K TV's I know how good the pictures can look and I heard that with 4K res you don't really need to run AA etc to get a sharp picture. Looking at older benchmarks and reviews GTX670 in Sli is slightly better a GTX780... and the itch for something new is growing daily, if only I had better GPU's...
