£350 for Motherboard, memory and CPU?

Hi All,

I'm just looking to upgrade my rig after several years of faithful service my E8400 just isn't cutting the mustard any more.

I'm going to keep my case, monitor, mouse, keyboard, 6950, Hard Disks, and 750w power supply.

So what I'm looking for is CPU, Motherboard, Memory and CPU Cooler.

So for the princely sum of £350 what would be best. Also would it be noticeable if I went for a cheaper AMD build and added a second 128GB M4 which cold then be raised to give me a nice 256GB drive?
