Swap the CPU for IB, the new batch of SB overclocks poorly: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-404-IN

You can't overclock with the H77 chipset, it needs to be Z77: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-395-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2261

There's an MX version of the board which looks like it might overclock better but it's about £100.

EDIT: Wednesday The 3570K was on offer for about £173 last week!

To be honest this is for a friend it is VERY unlikey going to be overclocked.
although for the same price Z77 is going to be better and the IvyBridge is the same price as the Sandy so again a better swap?

A Ivy Bridge supports PCIE 3.0 and is 10% faster per clock

So just change the CPU from Sandy to Ivy and save £2-3 and from H77 too Z77 (More Ivy Friendly)
