350£ PC for a friend, wanting to play Source games basically

Hey all, my friend is looking to buy a PC that he wants to play at least Source games on smoothly, primarily CSS, and his budget is around 300/350£, so if any of you can get a decent PC built at around that price then i'd be greatly appreciative, Many Thanks ;D, the closer to 300£ the better for him of course

hi. You say your friend wants to play the latest source games, but then go to say CSS.. what games are you thinking of because CSS is no longer the latest and there is a lot of difference between what you need for CSS and the latest.

If you don't need an OS, then for £350, I can't think of much better than this.

Forgot about Optical Drive though....

Thats very true, well put it this way, he'll be playing CSS and CoD4/5, I know CoD is extremely scalable so thats fine, and i'm from England, but i'm not always in England, so it's best to ask now, and no accessories needed sorry, and no OS, he already has the CD for that, just the system, dont even need a monitor, Many Thanks for the help

Haha I am English, it's just always been a habbit of mine chucking it at the end of numbers, no idea where I learned to do it that way

This is what you should be looking at: £300 budget tower and upgrade the E1200 to a E5200 instead...
