Looking to upgrade my e5200 and 4850 to somthing abit beefier for the rest of this year and next. Running a 1680x1050 / 6gig RAM/ Biostar p45 MB/ Vista x64 along with the e5200 running at 3.4 comfortably and a mild o.c of the 4850.

Nothings running that slowly at the moment, but dont want to find out how slow my comp is in a game afew months down the line when the cheap 4800 range / 775 quads might not be about :D . Might be upgrading to a reall nice 24'' monitor soon but sticking with 22'' atm

£350 ish to spend dont mind going amd and getting a new MB (could sell the p45), just would like to have abit more umpf in my tower for the future(9-12 months from now), if that makes sense ;)

Advice welcome please

Might be worth looking into getting an ssd?

If you only have a conventional hard drive, then speed wise, that is likely to be a bottleneck.

i think you CPU is fine infact its pretty quick would think a 4870x2/4890 will do the job with no problems but erm what PSU you got?

may need an upgrade on that if you want a new gfx:D
