rit i have £350 to spend on me pc
i have a amd 5000be at 3.2
2gb ram
650watt psu (cant memba make but cost me a fortune 1year ago when i bought this lot)
samsung 500gb hdd
and a ****ty 8600gt
i wanna buy a graphics card but if i spend it all on 260sli and a new power supply is my cpu going to bottleneck it?
and is there anything better that i should buy?
also i play on a 24"monitor on 1920 x 1200 and i would like it to actually be able to run cysis unlike that thing that i wnt go near it with

i was thinking about getting some more ram as 2gb is sod all really any more lol
will it b a bad idea if i went for sli 260s over that cus i dno if i can be bothered to go through the hassle of a new cpu

Whats your current mobo & brand of power supply?

But personally I would be looking at a 4890 & 275 instead of the hassle of sli.

If i were you I would be looken at :

GTX 275 or 4890/70

Phenom II X3 Tri Core 720 Black Edition 2.8GHz

Corsair XMS2 4GB DDR2 PC2-8500C5

If your mobo can take it.

ps theres no real hassle in changing a cpu (maybe a bios update)

tbh i think my mobo is a piece of **** as it wont let me lift my voltage to my cpu above 1.35 so i cudnt go anywere near as fear as i could go with it:(
and i wud have to update my bios plus having to take off me fan off me current cpu and reapply it to the new one.

Id look at this then, should be a nice set up, the board would support the addition of a 2nd card later too

wat i might do then is buy a gfx card and see hwo bad it is before going the full hog and pretty much rebuilding my system.
is thewre any other way you can figure out the maximum card for your cpu?

nd will there be a big difference between my cpu and a phenom2x3 720 wen it comes to bottlenecking cus i though most games didnt support more then 2 cores atm or was i wrong in thinking that?

Like others have said, no point spending all that money going for SLI, get a 4890 or somthing similar. You keep saying you want it easy and not much hassle... single card is much easier than bothring with SLI

haha, your not!! Your asking for advice :p If you want it hassle free, a single cards much easier. Definately not boring because both those cards are amazing! :D

kl kl since i got a sli board atm i think ill go 275 and apparently looking at only one set of benchmarks made by tomshardware they are a litle bit quicker aswell but they can be quite bias
