Hi All,

I've just upgrade my CPU from an i3 2130 to an i5 3570 (non K) and have a question about the RAM speed.

CPUz shows it as 667.3Mhz however I'm sure it should be higher than that?

Rest of the spec -
Mb - Gigabyte Z77-3DH
RAM - Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Am I correct in thinking there is problem somewhere?

Thanks in advance

look in the bios for xmp profile 1 and enable it,it will set correct ram speed/timings then

or manually select the ram speed in system memory multiplier and pick 1600mhz

Sounds like you need to enable the XMP profile of your memory in the BIOS as its running at standard 1333Mhz. CPU-Z always reports it like that for some reason, just double it to see the real memory speed :)
