Morning,Had this cpu along with a gigabyte z77 d3h board for a couple of weeks now and i have had previous help with o/c help on this matter .
I can o/c on fixed voltage quite easy,ive been up to 4.5ghz,with a core voltage of around 1.27,prime 95 tested for about an hour,reaching approx 72*c which im quite happy with.
After being given advice from a couple of guys here(good advice)i set my voltages to llc turbo/high/med and core voltage normal,using an offset to adjust the voltage.
When i set the voltage to say -0.005 and llc to turbo the core voltage in cpuid (while stressing) says 3.92v,really to high for me,so i adjust the offset down(minus volts) and i eventually get the core voltage down to about 1.344or 1.32 is the lowest its been.But im using an offset of about 0.050,is this right what im doing,as i think if i go any lower my idle/low usage voltage will be to low and could bsod just by web browsing,anything else i can adjust ,am i missing something??
