I'm about to upgrade from i7 950 to the i5 3570K. Just wondered if i'd be better off saving the £50+ from the NH-D14 and keeping my H70 or if I would get a noticeable difference from the Noctua. Obviously I'll be overclocking so that plays into effect. I have the CM HAF X and don't plan on changing it but I think I'm right in guessing that my case would provide better air flow with the NH than it would with the H70.

Either cooler will be able to cope with the cpu, just that the noctua will mean youll need low profile ram. The stock fans though on the noctua will be quieter than stock corsair fans. Made the move from a 920 to a 3570k a while back. On the oc i have at the moment, it's a fair bit cooler than my 920 @4ghz was.
