so i am going to be upgrading in a few weeks and im having a bit or a dilemma on whether to go with the 3570k or the 4670k,

i am wanting to overclock so have a Z motherboard specified for each of the processors.

if you were choosing which would you go for?

bear in mind i wouldnt have a lot of money to spend on a cooler.

If I was you, the most cost effective upgrade would be to the 4c 8t Xeon after shifting your i3 3220.

If you're definitely going to be buying a new board, then Z87 and 4670K over a 3570K.

It's the latest architecture, it's faster clock for clock, overclocking is more inconsistent.
Uses less power.
Think it has some instruction set advantages too.
Better IMC too.
