Hi Guys- I've been trying to overclock my 3570k - my spec is as follows

Asus p8z77-i deluxe
i5-3570k
Antec Kuhler 620 h20 for cooling

I don't know much so i started out with the basics- Increased speed to 100x42 multi = 4.2ghz- Figured out the minimum stable voltage It needed to run which was 1.195v. Trouble is I seem to be getting high temps. See screenshot below! CPU speed is showing as 1.6 because of the speedstep/c1e stuff.

The Kuhler is mounted using antec formula 7 paste and has one fan ontop of the rad pulling air in from outside the case, and one fan underneath pushing the hot air out from the radiator into the case. I'm worried I've either installed the cooler wrong or configured the fans wrong.

If you guys could help point me in the right direction that would be *awesome* as I don't really have a clue how to go from here. In all honesty I thought I'd see 4.4-4.5 before getting near these temps!

Cheers,

Cretin

Im not 100% no as it was my first time fitting an aftermarket cooler. However my idle temps go as low as about 27-28. Do you think i should try and re fit it?

Have just reseated the cooler and the temps are now down a full 20 degrees  - obviously something wasn't quite right the first time around!!

Cheers guys!
