Just installed my Alpenföhn K2 last night and temps are impressive however I have no idea if my overclock is right or not. I know it's not stable.

Currently got it at 4.6, the v offset is at + 0.085v and im hitting v1.32 for that overclock. Speed step is enabled and sits at 2.0 before jumping up when the power is needed. I'm going to disable the safety switches when I get home.

Is my voltage too high? I have no clue with overclocking and any help is appreciated.

My temps hit about 70'c.

Voltage will vary from system to system, running the same board, cpu and cooler here. Your temps are very impressive for that vcore though. Im hitting 67c at 4.2ghz 1.244 vcore.

Managed to get it stable 4.6 at v1.32-3 (it fluctuates slightly depending on load). Running OCCT Linpack test for 10hr while I'm out, after about 15mins the top temp on real temp was about 81, OCCT said it was 72 though (ill go with real temp to be safe)

Very impressed with this, and the cooler is very quiet even at full whack and inaudible when the fans drop during idle.

I have no more Arctic silver 5 now too, only salvaged enough to cover one installation as my dog chewed the syringe the day it arrived haha. :D

Nice job, your unlikely to hit those temps in normal use. Ill have to get round to clocking mine a bit higher too. Only done through ai suite at the minute. Need to read up on clocking theese, bit different from my previous i7 920.

Just had a session on BF3 - Was averaging about 60'C, same as my GTX670 WF. So quiet, just a slight wooshing noise from all the fans. Love it :D

Getting about the same on cpu as well in game, gtx 670 is hitting 66c on auto fan, though ive got it clocked at 1310mhz core, 7586mhz on the memory. Really impressed with how quiet it is even on auto fan.

Is 4.6GHz @ v1.384 high for Ivy Bridge?

My temperatures aren't hot in the slightest, just been playing AC3 Full whack @ 4.6GHz, my GPU hits 66'C and my max temp on the CPU was 68'C
