3570k Temps - New Build

Hi guys

Just managed to get my new build all setup and Win7 64Bit installed. first thing I did obviously was grab CoreTemp and have a look.

I'm seeing the following averages...it might still be settling down but just wondered whether perhaps the Thermal Compound might not have spread properly?

Avg Temp (oC)
Core 0 - 26
Core 1 - 16
Core 2 - 20
Core 3 - 34

So I've for an 18oC swing from lowest to highest.....ideas?

You will always have a variant in temps across the cores, also they do suffer from stuck / low reading sensors.

Look at full load temps more than idle temps.

Cool ...under prime95 they were at about 50/51/51/58 so more equal...makes sense...just need answer to my PSU query (in gen hware forum) and then I'm apply with my new build

Sensors are not very accurate at low temperatures so it's not worth worrying about idle temps.
