3570k temps

Just wondering what temps i should be getting on a 3570k at stock speeds , mine at the minute while in a game is around 37-40 degrees varies on each core, are these OK and would i behow to overclock or would i need a new cooler ? currently using a corsair h60

Your temps are perfectly fine (quite low in fact).
OC as much as you can! H60 is a good cooler, will have no issues.

im not sure which program to read Coretemp is saying 37-40 and speedfan is saying 30-35

Fire up prime95 and see what the load temps are like. Idles look ok.

This is after like 3 minutes of prime 95 , how long should i run it ?

10 mins or so will usually heat it up enough. But those look pretty good so far, bit lower than my own iirc.

They are still perfectly fine

thanks for responses etc , looks like i dont have to buy a new cooler and can spend more on a monitor
