Im at 4.5@ 1.25v.

high LLC and +0.010 Dvid.

Havent tried to reduce volts are increase clocks yet, get too preoccupied with playing games.

Very nice chip. How are you finding it compared to your 3570K? I'm considering making the move myself, mainly since I went xfire.

same as my 3770k 1.212v for 4.5ghz

lemme guess, medium llc and around +0.020v dvid?:p

I was high llc +0.025v

I tried med llc +0.020v Failed.

Med llc +0.025v Passed vcore is 1.200v So lowering the llc I have dropped 0.012v.

Temps are now 79max so have drop 2c.

Nice chip.

hi mate, those seem like pretty good temps by the way, I'm guessing that is from a system that is totally dust free and in a kinda of cool room and also maybe a pro liquid cooling system of sorts ? If not then they are amazing temps man :)

Have a look at my thread here from the other day mate to compare, ohh and do your stress tests on intel burntest to "Maximum" level too rather than just high and see how high the temps then get out of curiosity.

p.s
remember when using intel burntest (especially on maximum setting) just leave the computer alone apart from having the cpu-z app running etc because as you probably know, any messing about with anything during the test will more than likely crash the pc because it is already under very very heavy stress ;)

Are you testing stability with playing games also? You can be ibt stable with not much voltage but games will crash to desktop if CPU v isn't enough

95% dust free, using a Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E.

I have only ever done High in IBT. As games never get that high.

Testing BF4 now.

Ha I have the same cooler too,I could squeeze 4.6ghz out of mine before I delidded

How much ram do you have? Tried 2133mhz?

lol, stick IBT up to MAX x 10 runs mate, that way if it passes with flying colours then you need not worry about a thing again really and you can sit back a relax for at least a year until the system gets choaked to death with dust and you have the heating on in the house and its like 80c like it is most of the time in my house, LOL, if your OC can perform in these conditions then you know your laughing, lol, plus the fact that there is nothing to worry about at all apart from a blue screen and then you need to tweak the bios settings again very slightly like I had to do as you can see in that thread of mines I showed you :);)

It doesn't work like that though, gaming stresses the CPU differently than ibt/prime95 with ivy,I think its down to the linked pcie bus

p.s
I tried my ram over 1600 and got it to work but it started to crash etc and there was honestly no real gain to our own eyes to see to be honest, so 1600 I find is perfectly enough, but that's just me, you may be different, I would say if you want better ram performance then instead of OC'ing the ram higher than 1600, just put in larger capacity sticks of ram instead, much easier and more stable, again just my opinion ;)

I also tried for a while with the i7 3770K up at speeds of 46 to 5G'z etc, but far too much heat and far too many problems, 4.5 is fine man, infact even 4.5 is really not needed, but we all do like to see the magical numbers on screen don't we, LOL ;)

oops, yes wazza, your right there too mate with stressing it out using heavy duty games too, I guess because the games stress in various different ways etc to your normal burn tests etc, agreed

You will do 2133mhz with 8gb,1.55v dram v, 9-10-10-21-1t timings

Don't think you'd manage that with 16gb tho

In games faster ram doesnt make a noticeable difference tbh. Just installed 8gb of 2400mhz ram in my system in sig. No difference from the kit i had before at 1600mhz. Will probably make a difference in benchmarks.

Higher mhz always looks better ;)
It's all about the ol e-peen.:D

I could probably have gotten a decent clock out of the sammy greens with a bit of time and tweaking. But the replacement ram wasnt that expensive and id won a few quid on the ponies. Will have to run a few benchmarks to see how they fare.
