It'll be fine, I'm guessing someone is letting you have it for free?

I wouldn't spend much (if any) money on something like that now, but honestly it's still a fairly capable CPU. I have one myself, handles World of Warships and Fallout 4 without a problem, although obviously it'll depend on your expectations. Warships isn't very demanding really, as for Fallout 4, 60 fps at 1080p is absolutely possible depending on your GPU and settings.

If the motherboard supports it be sure to OC it, you'll hit 4.4ghz or so easily enough.

Guy on another forum is selling it for £35 ,but I've seen a 3770k bundle on here which I think will be better.

Cheaper the better tbh.
I'll be selling my rig soon so will be nice to use it when the kids don't.

I’ve still got a 3570k and it runs all the new games great even in 4K with my 1070.

That being said its getting really old now so am using a even older motherboard lol that only supports DDR3 so I’m looking to upgrade my how PC to the current tech.

Anyhow, grab the 3570k OC it to 4.2ghz easily and you won’t have problem.

My 3770K still copes with everything I throw at it. My dad still has a 3570K and it is still a very capable CPU.

Though unless getting it for free or very cheaply I would not buy one now.

I still have my Intel 3570K (overclocked to 4.3Ghz). I just recently finished playing Gears of war 5, played it at 60FPS no problems on Ultra settings; that made me decide to hold off on upgrading until next year. I'm just interested in playing Halo MCC next which this processor should handle no problems.

After that I might get either the Ryzen 3950X or the 3800X.
