360+2407 vga prob

Posted this on the monitors forum but maybe it'll get an answer faster here.

For some reason or other anytime i try to engage 1920x1080 mode the screen is defaulting to 1280x1024 mode. I think this pic explains it all

It outputs 1080p via hdmi>dvi on my ps3 flawlessly, just getting this res to work on the 360 seems to be difficult for some reason. :confused:

using the official vga cable as well.

Well mystery solved, seems the official cable doesn't like that display mode, but the little pos madcatz cable does adn is working fine. :confused:

Use a 2407 with my 360 and get a fantastic image. Have reduced contrast to 30 instead of 50 to make everything crisp.
