Hey, I've decided to make the plunge and get a X360 Premium with Call of duty 3 and GoW. I'm planning to get the xbox live and play and charge kit, but what else do you recommend?

Also, how do you think it will look on a 42" non HD tv?

Nothing else as yet, see how you get on with that. I'd also then recommend a mem card as important save back ups. Ive lost a few from time to time and the mem card saves some serious roll back.

As you're using it on a nonHDTV, then make sure you get hold of the Official Advanced SCART cable, as it's RGB and much better for picture quality overall compared to the composite connection you get with the 360.

I have just bought the play & charge kit, does it charge off the usb ports or something?

Yes, it connects to a USB port. You can even charge it off a PC, if you really wanted :p

The 360 premium is available for £279.99 with GOW and PES6.
If it was me I'd trade PES in for a couple of older games and keep GOW.

All in I'd say it is a better deal than the one you've mentioned.

I'd expect a 42" TV (non HDTV) to still have RGB component input ?

My sisters boyfriend is getting this, but i hate PES6 and I love the Call Of Duty series so the other deal was for me.

No, that is composite video (yellow) and left and right audio (white and red).

RGB should be red, blue and green.

If it does take component it may take a 480p signal which would be very nice. What TV is it?
