360 achievements and memory cards.

If I took my memory card to a friends house and played a game on his 360 with no live connection under my profile and gained an achievement would it save that achievement to the memory card?
Could I then stick the memory card into my 360 and connect to live and get the achievement onto the MS database?

I know game saves can be moved to the memory card under the profile, I am just unsure as to where achievements go if they are gained offline.

Your achievements are saved to the account, not to the memory card. All you'd need to do would be turn on your 360 and connect to live even without the memory card.

If you achieved something on your friends xbox as long as your Profile is stored on the Mem Card when you connect on live on yours it would update the profile with MS - achievements and all - so its fine - itll just say "Acquired" as it was gained offline.

Assume my friend doesn't have Live or internet access but that I have inserted my memory card with my profile on it before playing on his machine.
I am assuming that my profile on the memory card is updated with the new achievement?
