If a game has achievements added by DLC after release, does the system regard a game as "completed" if you get just the original out of the box 1000? The game I have in mind is Bioshock - I'm considering playing through again with a view to getting all the audio logs and finishing it in hard mode, but I'd be disappointed not to "complete" it on account of not doing the absurdly hard no vita-chambers achievement that was added later on through a title update.

I *think* if you 1K the game prior to DLC and never play it again the game stays as complete in your list - however if you play the game (even if not purchased the DLC) the game updates itself to show the new achievements meaning it wont show as complete.

OR I am completely wrong, both plausible!

The vita chambers would be near impossible. Remember the first encounter with a big daddy? I died a fair few times even on easy! lol.

On the PS3 (even if you have the whole platinum system instead), the DLC trophies show up on the list without them purchased and you can't 100% it without buying. I completed the platinum but only got 84% complete. So I assume it's the same on the Xbox

Playing without Vita chambers is not hard at all. Just save after any major point or event, like before something that requires you to use a lot of eve/health.

And that first big daddy is the hardest one. After that you get used to the new way of playing :)
