Suprised these haven't been mentioned on here, or at least I haven't seen any comments.

They plug onto the back of the 360 and have 3 fans so they're a cooler aswell but the best bit is on the back they have every connector you can think of (gold plated too!) so it removes the need for a special 360 connector and just a normal VGA to VGA can be used to connect it upto a PC monitor for example.

I'm almost certain they had SCART to SCART aswell.

I was looking at them in the catalogue the other week at my brothers and he said he was going to the store to pick some up, they were only cheap, about £15.

Can't link to them as they're competitiors but they don't have them on the website anyway for some strange reason and haven't seen them anywhere else. had a look as I was going to post a pic. Going to have another look at that catalogue tomorrow see what they're called.

Anyone else know?

I suppose it's useful if you haven't already bought the leads you need, but otherwise I wouldn't bother. The 360 cooling is sufficient, and many people say the extra fans actually mess up the air flow and detract from cooling (dunno if that's true). Plus they will add to the already considerable noise. That alone would put me off.

Bargain though.

The noise is the exact reason I'm trying to hang on for my brother to get one first ;)

It's the price of a cable though and would be handy if I want to hook it upto my PC.

I've not seen any reviews for the things, but if it's the device that I've seen before, for <£20, there must be something in there that's keeping the cost down. Gold plating cables and things is all well and good, but if the rest of the components on the devices are poor quality, they'll be pointless.

Yeah all these fan cooling adapters are generally poorly recieved. The connections on them arent up to much and theres been lots of cases of htem going poof and taking the 360 psu with them!
They have really poor connections onto the PSU cable, it kinda sits in between with a chunk of plastic and the fit is pretty pants and actually quite dangerous!

That's because the xbox psu provides the exact amount of power the console needs and several of the fan attachments connect to the power supply before the the console lowering the power the console gets.

This 'cooler king' connects via USB so it won't have that problem.

I cant see how poor quality connections would be a factor, it's not like there's any distance involved the ports are just being moved back an inch.
