360 AiO for 9950x3d

So i ended up getting the Thermalright frozen prism 360 in the end after watching some reviews and seeing the ls 720 moving closer to mid 70s during gaming yesterday.

Surprisingly good, even though the spring screw mechanism on the waterblock was a pain and a half to install.

Idling at 41C and 76C in cinebench 23 after an overclock. I am also running a silent fan profile with moderately high ambient temperature.

Nice result.

Do you think the 720 was failing ?

May be but not entirely sure.

Number of factors could be in play here, one being a sudden increase in ambient temperatures but I have been monitoring the temps for the last couple of days and I definitely saw an upward trend of temperature increase on the 720 with idle temps going to mid 50s and gaming temps increasing to mid 70s.

Do you have the latest one or the previous model? I heard they are really good
I think it is this one:
Cost about £150. Nice clean design and good cooling performance.

Nice! Despite what people think about NZXT as a company, their AIO’s I really do like

Artic freezer 3 best one I've ever owned.

This is also a favourite! If you’re looking for an AIO purely for performance then arctic freezer are the best imo.

NZXT performance is almost as good, but also has the aesthetic benefits - at least for me anyway

i got the thermalright frozen prism 360 for £52. For the price, the performance is really great. Moreover, I have overclocked the 9950x3d with undervolting to +200mhz on boost. I have seen some cores hit 6ghz in games whilst the temperatures are below 70C and have seen peak of 247W in power.

I had the Arctic 3 in basket but the installation difficulties I saw in reviews, I ended up not going for it. Plus, save money as well so for the time being it appears to be a good little investment.

For me, it was between the thermalright, arctic freezer and NZXT. I couldn't get my head around the weird offset mounting on the arctic though.
That was the reason I opted to not go for it.

That said, I also had issues with the frozen prism because it uses a similar two-screw springy mechanism mount as the ALF3 and I had to re-apply thermal paste a couple of times as I missed one of the screw holders a few times. Granted, I installed it whilst the motherboard was already inside the case so the clearing around heatsinks, case blocking the view, etc, was probably a factor.

I have the artic 420mm in my 9950x3d setup and a Thermal right basic 240mm Aio on my 9800x3d setup. The artic is a pain in the ass to fit and I have the hero as well. The thermal right is easier but I hate it. The pump has more noise than the artic and teh supplied fans are horrible. You can't really complain for 40 squidlets But I rather just not have it.
