I run my 360 via component and it looks great, with the pc hooked upto the dvi. Today I noticed from the dashboard that when I turn on the pc with the dashboard up, some of the colour is less vibrant when the pc kicks in. The orange isn't so bright anymore.

Its not a biggie I'm just curious if this happens to others and why it happens, after all its not splitting a signal as the Dell is set to component connection.

?????

Danny I have the same monitor set up the same way as you and ive just tested it and it happens to me too, its not just the orange most colours look less bright. I dont think its just the dashboard because I noticed Kameo looked abit washed out last night while playing and the pc was on and I could'nt work out what was causing it.

No idea why this should happen maybe someone could shed some light on it, but for now on ill be keeping the pc off while im playing on the 360.

Cheers mate it's weird it only seems to happen if I turn the pc on after the 360 is on. Don't seem to notice it the other way around. Its not a huge problem but a bit strange I thought as you are selected the source on the front panel why should it matter if the pc is on?

I found today that if i want to keep my pc on it works quite well to set the system to go into standby if not used for 5 minutes or less if you want. The colours come back when the system goes into standby. If you want to use your pc again, just one key touch and you can switch back. :)
