360 black screen and snow

Hi all,

Little brothers 360 has stopped displaying the picture although u can still hear sound. All we get is a black screen and white dots.

Any ideas what's wrong or links of things to try, I've got the tools to take it apart. Could I just do the red ring of death fix?

Tried different cables but it made very little difference!

Yep. If that doesn't fix it at first re-do it but with an oven bake too.

Well xclamp didn't fix it and its now RROD as well so I guess its in to the oven!

Will pop to the charity shop, get some old tshirts & Towels, make sure I have enough silver foil and then pop to Homebase and look for some aluminium tape.

Gas mark 9, then 8-10 mins.

I never thought I'd be putting a 360 in the oven :S

I never thought people actually did this. I saw someone mention it once on these forums and thought it was a joke or something.
