Hi, I have my Xbox 360 attached to a router via wireless adapter. I can connect to xbox live fine, but when I try to connect to my PC for music, it cant find it. WMP11 can see it and it is set to allow, but the 360 can't connect to it. Am I missing something?

It will likely be a firewall issue.

What firewall are you using? On zonealarm, I need to set the firewall up to allow all data from 192.168.1.xxx (where xxx = my xbox 360 IP).

try putting a music file in the My Documents\My Music directory. If it will read it from there, then just place a shortcut folder in there to where your music normally is. So if you keep all your music in C:\Music, place the shortcut to C:\Music in the My Music folder.

I'm running on Windows Firewall, I thought it would automatically allow it, but I will try it anyway.
EDIT: I cant seem to allow an ip using windows firewall.

I've no idea about windows firewall, I think it's pretty pants to be honest, but I'm sure there's other means to do it.

Try disabling Windows Firewall for a second, see if the Xbox can see the music then.
