360..cant sign in...

Was playing fine late last night, go to sign in to play and it wont.

Test connection says the Network ( its LAN connected) is fine, internet connection is fine, but the internet to 360 Live wont connect, checked my router etc..all is fine..all my other devices ( wired pc, about 3 wireless devices printer etc) are all working fine.

Any ideas?
 
i know this sounds random, but unplug your ethernet cable, turn your xbox off. plug it back in and then switch it on.
 
Rebooted the modem and now its working..anyone any idea how that happens to trip itself up!?
