360 component Vs component into scart

Is there any difference in picture quality?

My mate hasnt got component in so had to use the adaptor.

If all he has is the scart the tell him to get a RGB scart cable,even thats better than the crappy composite.Either that or lay off the beer for a bit and get a HDTV which is what next-gen consoles is all about.

It is a HDTV. Seems I got confused though, he had component, just no sound input, some wierd phono jack or something
