360 Console just for FM4.

Right really odd and possibly an annoying one for you all, but i really want FM4 (forza) but dont have a 360 lol, so looking to buy a 360 for 1 game, do i need to get a HDD version or Will i be ok with a 4gb version and ive read a usb stick will work??????? To be perfectly honest i have no idea about consoles anymore so go easy on me.

You'd be fine with a 4GB console, however having a hard drive is best overall for loading speed and Forza DLC plus extra disc takes up a lot of space

Thought as much, ill see what deals i can find round town today, im guessing it will be fine connected to my PC monitor via VGA? i think ive got a 360 to VGA cable around somewhere from the old white ones.

Without a hard drive you won't have access to all the tracks or cars and loading times will be longer. I'd recommend getting a hard drive.

I did this!

Bought a 360 just for FM4.

I got the 4GB version and installing the disc fills up most of the space straight off. Downloading the DLC then becomes a problem as you have nowhere to save it. The initial game launched with a couple of car packs and a track pack, and I did not have space on the 4GB to install the disc and the 3 packs.

Got a 16GB USB stick now and have installed the disc and all the DLC onto that.

Basically, the 4GB is not enough space. You will need more. Wether you just use a USB stick, or get a full HDD is up to you (and your budget).
