Hey All!

Recently purchased a wire 360 controller for my PC. When I first plugged it in Vista downloaded the relevant drivers and I received a Windows update, the controller then worked fine.

The second time I've come to use the controller I plug it in and get 'USB device not recognised'. I've tried re-downloading drivers etc but no joy.

Any ideas?

EDIT: The dog has chewed through the wire! Mods please delete.

Could you not try rejoining the wires and patching it up with insulating tape? Also get the dog a bone:)

Hehe - spaniel, terrier?

Setters idea is a good a cheap solution - but if you have dog prone to chewing everything that is exposed to it in its wake you could get a wireless pad and use the wireless PC receiver. It works with win 7 64 so it may/should work with Vista 32/64.
