360 Controller and Windows 8.1 issue.

I've just moved to 8.1 after a partial system rebuild.

I've noticed my Keyboard stops working sometimes, when I have my 360 Controller plugged in. Sometimes it will do it from a reboot, and sometimes it will just happen after a couple hours. I've tried all combinations of USB Ports.

Does anybody know anything about this?

It's a Microsoft Wired 600 Keyboard.
I'm on the latest 8.1 build.

Got the Microsoft keyboard software installed? I think it's called IntelliType. Try uninstalling it. Then uninstall the XB360 controller from device manager and plug it in again to make it install fresh.

Also, next time it stops working go to device manager and see if there are any conflicts. If it does it will have a little yellow "!" next to the icon of the device.
