360 Controller batteries

Hey all, i was just wondering how long do the batteries which come with the controller last(AA, Energizer)?

Also i have a rechargable battery pack which came with my bundle(not play and charge), will i have to buy a charge cable to charge this battery or can i charge it by other means?

In regards how long the batteries last...I have played through each tournament on PGR3 and my brother through all of Hitman, and it was only after that when they finally started to get a little slow and unresponsive

Easily 20+ hours of gameplay.

If it's the solid 360 pad battery, then you'll either need to charge it with a play and charge kit, or the quick charge kit.

slightly OT but in the same vain my Battery packs (normal not rechargeable) have started to wear lose, 2 or 3 times now they pad has gone dead and ive had to push them back in, is this a known problem?

batterys usually last me well over a couple of weeks

mines on 3 quarters with standard batteries and ive probably done about 15 hours. Got the play and charge kit but aint needed it yet.
