Hi all,

Quick Question. I want to use one of my 360 controllers with my laptop. I know one can buy a 360 wireless adaptor. however, i was wandering if it was able to simply get a plug and charge kit and use that. I have found varying reports online. Some have said it will work if i just use it with out the battery in it

No.

The cable carries power only, nothing else.

(you can do that with a 360, but that's because it is connected wirelessly then powered through the cable)
