360 Controller Problem

Okay so i have a Wired 360 controller. However, the little adapter that changes it from what looks like a ps/2 connection to USB i have lost?
Is there anywhere i can get it from?
 
Get a wireless controller and be done with wires:p...seriously though i dont know where you could get such a thing from...tried google??

Cant find it. And yeah there is one its on the end that connects the controller to the 360 usb port.

EDIT: Ah see what you mean now. Never realised the USB part was detachable.

A few places did them for the old Xbox, not sure about the 360. Maybe try eBay?

Its just an anti-snag thing really, no reason if you're desperate why you couldn't just hack the end off and solder an old USB connector on yourself (but I would just use it as an excuse to get a wireless pad :p)

The 360 connectors are not the same as the Xbox ones so if you can find one make sure it's for the 360 and not Xbox. Personally though I would give MS an email or phone call.
 
my 360 pads molded there , just straight to USB

i know what you mean though, the old xbox pads had the connector, you can get the ends on the net
 
I noticed this on my Guitar Hero guitar as it came apart when I had it in my car, took me bloody ages to work out what the ll was going on and find the bloody thing :p

As I found mine I didnt need to look for one, if you cant track down a proper one obviously you could just lok into getting a PS2 to USB convertor.
