360 Controller Woes

Hi all, just a quick question.

I have a wireless 360 pad for my PC. It works absolutely fine, i've been using it to work my way through Batman AA. Now the problem is, if I touch or knock the battery pack on the back, the controller turns off.

Is this normal, or should I be looking at an RMA?

I'd say the clip on the battery pack is going, I had the same problem I just got a chargable battery pack cheap.

But you may as well RMA it's under warranty

It happens to mine as well, but no it should not be doing it. On mine the battery pack is ever so slightly loose and keeps losing contact and and in turn loses power.

If it's in warrenty talk to the retailer about it.

Mine used to do this but i just put a little bit of tape over the top end of the pack and the controller. It worked for me as every time I would jolt the controller it would turn off.

Tip for the future - Used wired stuff. SO much better from my experience.
