Well the same old same old.

My launch day 360 failed tonight (was acting up last 2 or 3 days). Graphics went funny - 3 red lights. Tried the usual disconnect drive etc.

I'm gonna ask tommorow where I bought it from to see what they say.

Anyone in the last few days got any where with a high street video game specialist?

I think if I'm out of luck I'd rather pay full whack and get another new unit and then take out the extended warranty (whats the max you can get)?

Ah well have to slum it with the PS3 ;)

Yeah well my PS3 is an import and I didnt get it to play online tbh - I prefer the 360.

Been enjoying Crackdown/GRAW2 on 360 with my m8. Oh well :(

Regarding overheating etc - its been off for 2 days and crashed within 2 minutes of being on tonight. Its on a glass AV stand and nothing else is near it or blocking vents.

It bombed a few nights ago within 5 minutes of being on in GRAW2 - After 20 minutes and 5 or 6 reboots it came up and ran fine for a couple of hours. Strange though that Crackdown had a well weird stuttering effect that I've never seen before.

Whats with a sudden supply of dying 360s?? Like everyones posting :O

I think there are a lot of 360 owners looking for any reason to switch to the PS3 (maybe those so anti Sony that they have to make it look like M$ are doing them over), so yeah, after throwing the 360 down the stairs or submerging it in the fish-tank we've had a spate of broken consoles.

;)
