360 - Disc Unreadable

I was playing Fifa 08 last night when the disc stopped spinning. About 5 mins later it came up saying disc unreadable. I reset the console and after a while it came up with the error again.

I've had this problem with Fifa 07 about 2 months ago and Fifa 06 RTWC a year ago when I first bought the console.
I haven't had any problems with other games just Fifa. I have kept the xbox in the same position and haven't moved it.

From looking at the discs they don't look scratched and they work fine in my mates 360.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this or will I have to buy a new console?

I think I have a DVD cleaner laying around somewhere, will try that.

Unfortunately my 360 lost it's warranty last month.

Just went to try and use a dvd lens cleaner to now find that the disc tray will not open up at all and it's still got my fifa disc in it.

Looks like i'm going to have to buy a new one. Will probably be buying an elite or PS3 next week if it doesn't fix itself.
