360 display question?

I recently bought an Xbox 360 along with burnout revenge, and have it connected to my monitor with the official vga cable. The resolution is set at 1280x1024 in the dashboard. When im playing burnout the picture is displayed with black lines above and below, is there a way to make it full screen, or are all 360 games this way?

no i dont think so its a samsung 940bf 19"

Hmm, in that case that res is just right.

What game is it? There are some games that will display letterboxed if not on a widescreen monitor/TV.

Can you try another game? Or set your monitor to widescreen.
