360 Drive Question

I used to have a 360 but i sold it when i got bored. On being dissapointed by the wii release i thought about buying another 360 with Gears of War. One thing the REALLY annoyed me was the sound of the drive. Has this been sorted or does it still sound like a flipping hoover?

Depends, my second 360 is quieter than the first. It is luck which drive you had the first time, and what drive you get second.

I had heard they were going to revise the unit with .65 core and quieter drive soon but doesnt look like its happened...

Thats really the only thing thats putting me off...
