360 DVD upscale

Does the 360 upscale DVD's to 720p with a VGA cable? Was thinking about getting one and using it as my dvd player too

Yes, it will upscale via VGA or HDMI.

yes. Upscaling is via VGA and HDMI only (99.99999999999999% certain).
