360 Elite & HDMI Problems

Any one else had any problems with there TV not seeing the console in HDMI, it works fine on component just not HDMI :rolleyes:

Read a few other forums and there does seems to be a few problems.

Mine takes a couple of seconds to warm up but gets there in the end.

Is it possible that your tv doesn't support the xbox output via HDMI ?

Not sure mate, My ps3 works ok over hdmi. Its an odd one. Its a bravia k2530 26" . Using component at the min which is ok i suppose.

Could be a resolution issue with HDMI not accepting the same resolutions as component.

Try changing to 480p on component then switch over to HDMI. If this works you can then try both 720p and 1080i.

Didnt the PS3 at first have a few handshaking problems with the HDMI port on some TVs? It was soon updated in a system update though, maybe the same problem.

I Think that could be the problem, I have read a few other similiar problems over on avforums. Might give it a week or so and see how it goes.
