360 Elite Question

Just a quick question i have not long bought my Xbox 360 Elite.
Now it comes with both HD lead and the RGB (Which i presume is called component??)

Well i have 2/3 hdmi ports and an RGB phono set of ports on my TV (samsung LE32R87BDX)

Now what im wanting to know is which would give me the better picture using the RGB set of cables or would it be using the single HDMI cable??

HDMI, no doubt

HDMI / VGA > COMPONENT > SCART

So am i right in thinking the Red Green Blue cables are called component??

So again the HDMI cable would be the better option over the component??

Yes, HDMI is an all-digital signal. Component is analogue.

Try it over both, depend on the TV, there will probably not be *too* much in it, but HDMI should come out on top.

If you've got a surround sound amp, hook it up!

And probably set it at 720p and let your TV do any scaling.
