In all the promotional pics it looks like this.

My control is jet black as in the image but the console is a substantially different color, its grey.

Is anyone elses elite grey? Are they all grey? Whats going on The only reason I wonder is because the control is not the same black as the console, no where near.

Edit: Think its solved, they are all matt black and its my lighting that makes it look like this - they don't look like the promotional images though - the control is the original color and is a different color to the console

Looks like a fadded cheap fake to me, looks like youve been had.

It was brand new sealed from a retail store and its got 120 GB hard drive, jet black control

I don't think the jet black elite they show everywhere actually exists?

I think the color is just really sensitive to light tbh

They're black...which explains why the elite looks like that

It's obviously partly the flash but it still looks grey in person.
