I have heard that the player works on PC's however are there any minimum specs?

either a hd decoding graphics card, liek the 8500's or x2600 or somethign similar, or a dual core cpu is absolute minimum.

Ive got a dual core pentium (940) but that probably isnt enough, and a 7800GTX.

you should get away with that tbh. you'll have to wait for people how have tried it with a p-d to comment though.
