360 > HDMI > Sony KDL V3000

Just a quicky (I hope) about a mate who is having issues connecting his 360 via HDMI to his new HDTV.

He's saying that he's connected up but the image just flickers constantly and means he can't use it.

I don't have a HDMI 360 so i'm hoping you guys can help.

My 360 is connected via HDMI and has had no issues, seems an odd one.

Hmm. Did you go from another input type (component etc) before moving to HDMI? Did you have to flick any switches (like the 360 component cable has) or change anything on the 360 settings?

I went from Composite AV to HDMI and didn't have to change anything, it changed to 720P automatically the first time i switched the 360 on with the HDMI cable connected.

I have this exact setup without any issues. It may be worth swapping the HDMI cable or it could be some sort of interference.

FUBAR HDMI cable is what I would think.

Agreed - I have the same set-up (v3000 & 360 with HDMI out) and no issues :confused:
