360 Headset recommendations

Hi guys,

Looking at getting a decent wired headset/mic combo for the 360. Currently use a MS wireless headset and sound out of my tv speakers but would like to just get a headset provides both sound and a mic!

What's a decent headset out there and under £50?

Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 Headphones can be had for about £40, cheaper if you go on the bay I imagine.

Grab Steelseries xbox360 headset connector, then use any headset you want ie PC headset, thats if you use one atm. Cheap as well and can be had for less than 10£

These for £40, I use mine only for late night rockband but they are fantastic for the money.

Nice, funnily enough I bought these today forgetting about this thread

Will test them out when I get home on Friday, could have saved for the wireless ones I guess but not that fussed.

I read a lot of issues with the wireless ones, being line of sight and picking up interference from other electrical items.

The X1s are loud as well. I can't get them turned up all the way when playing RB.
