Hi All

Just a quick question about the 360 insurance. Basically is it worth getting it? as in the 2 year insurance card you get in your 360 box... i think it costs £59 for the 2 years.

and also regarding the 3 months warranty is it really only 3 months i would think this is abit evil of them not even giving you 12 months and then asking you to part with £59 to get 2 years.

whats your thoughts...

Thanks

I'm not, simply for the fact that your statutory rights cover you for quite some time anyway. If your Xbox breaks within a year or two, simply contact the retailer and ask them to either repair or replace your faulty console.

From what i read on this forum..Is that you have 3 months in the usa and 1 year in the UK...

I not payed £59 for the 2 year warrenty myself...I look at it as if my 360 breaks then i just pay a cheap core pack or secondhand one..
If the xbox360 was like £600 to £1000 then i would have got it..

There noway i would want to pay out an extra £59 on everything that i buy around the £200 mark....I would be skint

I'm thinking of getting it, just for ease over the next 2 years. Not just on the console but on the other 360 hardware.

Although touch wood mine has been fine thus far, I'm sceptical it will last 3 years. Rather than the hassle and loss of time with it, £25 a year isn't so bad.

I read it and immediately saw it as, well, a company trying it on. As has been said UK law covers you.

i dont think u can can you i think you need to do it within like 14 days of getting the console.

But as others have said, you only get 1 extra year on top of standard warrenty and you could argue the toss over any time past that.
