360 issue - turns on but no sound or picture?

Hello, not used the 360 for a couple of weeks due to uni work but I came to turn it on yesterday and found that whilst it turns on, im getting no sound or picture. Definitely not the tv or cable as i've tried it on my housemates tv.

Are there any solutions to this problem or is it a return jobbie? Also is this gonna cost me since theres no red lights and the console was from about 3 months after launch?

Just checking but the cable isn't set to HDtv when your playing on an SD set? I know I accidently did that when I moved to another room and didn't realise. If not then it does sound like your 360 has kicked the bucket.

Nah, running on a sammy lcd, was absolutely fine before, just came to play it now that my works finished and its buggered
